First time visiting and won't be the last. Service was exceptional and food delicious. Spaghetti carbonara was as good as I had in Rome! Good prices and the staff were lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend. I can't believe I've lived here 15 years and not tried this hidden gem!

Very freindly and welcoming staff. Best pasta ive had in a long time (even better than a well known Italian restaurant in Wakefield). Would definitely recommend people to come here

Came in for a coffee and a teacakes while out in town, I have been in once before when I was very young with my grandmother and I am overjoyed to say that it is still open, thriving and ran by the same wonderful gentleman as it was when I was a child. The coffee was lovely as was the teacake the food looked fantastic and the atmosphere inside is wonderfully cozy. There is a real sense of community is a cafe like this I will definitely be back for dinner (the owner reccomends the lamb but I have my eyes in the minestrone soup )

Host was lovely, so sweet very social, easy to get along with, he just seemed so happy. Food was great couldn’t be better, sausages were amazing and the sandwiches were delicious. Place is cozy and welcoming. Have been coming here a while and thought the place deserves to be known.

I'm unfamiliar with Normanton, I could count the number of times I've been there on one hand. So when I was there for an appointment in the afternoon,, I had an hour to wait for my bus home, so I decided to get something to eat. I was very surprised that pretty much everything was already closed as it felt very early still (about twenty past four). But this place was open, and wow am I glad it was! Right away, the staff member I spoke to was amazingly friendly and welcoming, and was very accommodating with dietary requirements when I ordered my pasta (I asked for no olives because they disagree with my stomach). The food was delicious! Both my pasta and garlic bread were wonderful. I would have stayed for dessert when I was done, but I had to catch my bus home. I'm actually disappointed that I don't often go to Normanton now, because I would definitely be a regular if I did. This is a wonderful little place and I would 100% recommend it to anyone!

Excellent staff. Very helpful and friendly. The food was also fantastic. Acceptable price But you may need to wait longer during peak hours, which is understandable.
